Do I remember a time when I had no debt? Sure, I was a kid! Truly, I cannot recall a time where my parents, peers or school teachers ever really sat down to discuss finances, investing, debt, credit cards, taxes or ever basic budgeting. I mean honestly, how many of us left high school fully prepared to take on the rigors of adulthood when it comes to money, let alone your financial future? I think the numbers are slim and based on the current national consumer debt, my theory is likely accurate. If you were fortunate enough however, to have someone in your life who guided you at a young age in this arena, consider yourself one of the lucky ones and may you prosper and share that knowledge with others!
